Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as described I base this review entirely on the item that I saw at the time of purchase. Having paid what I considered to be a premium for a Honeywell product I was disappointed to see that this wasn’t, nor does the pressure gauge have brass connections. It may work fine but it is definitely not as advertised

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job.......but..... Bought this to get rid of hammering in the ball valve in the attic tank caused by high mains water pressure. Which it did, reducing 5.25 bar down from anything to zero upward. While the valve itself is well made the gauge itself and the screw connection to the brass body is plastic. There is nothing in the instructions suggesting that a couple of turns of PTFE would be needed round the screw fitting - mine leaked like the proverbial sieve without PTFE. Bet the gauge used to be made out of brass......

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Honeywell Received a RESIDEO BRAUKMANN D04FM PRV instead of a Honeywell one. Don't be alarmed like I was at first. It's a changed name for Honeywell home products. Shame about the plastic Gauge. The screw in bit could have been brass made. Apart from.that looks well. Can't comment on reliability yet as not fitted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plumber There are no signs of it being a genuine Honeywell valve on the plus side it looks German so should be ok but just beware of everything on screwfix it may have the name you want but usually a totally different manufacturer's name on the one you get. Noticed this on a few items. Ok for DIY people but if you're a semi pro steer clear from fake fix xx

I'm looking to use this PRV on a caravan site that supplies water direct to the pitch. Will this valve keep the set pressure say 2.5bar when everything in the caravan is turned off, or will the pressure creep?

Asked by: jennjenn

does this alter litres per minute

I have a combi boiler which will only heat the water sufficiently hot at 10 litres per minute but my supply is giving 16 lpm will this valve reduce the flow to 10 lpm?
Asked by: H0SEPIPE

Should the pressure drop while a tap is running?

My incoming pressure is 5.75 barg, the valve was set at 3 bar when a tap is run the pressure drops to 2.5 bar is this normal or should the pressure always stay at what its set at, in this case 3 bar?

Bought today and its got resideo braukmann on it and not honeywell

Is this item correct and for the UK market as there is no mention of honeywell on the box, or the valve or the literature. I asked the screwfix guy and he said they were all the same on the shelf
Asked by: suunt0

How do I seal the gauge?

Gauge has no rubber seals, and plastic thread - do I just screw it in as supplied? - asking before to avoid leaks!
