Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good wall plug These are now my go-to make of wall plugs since buying a multipack (shame they discontinued it as it was perfect with a screw multipack). I have not had any isses with getting them in, and sometimes more impotantly out. You can tell they are good when removing them and they certainly hold things in place when you use the correct drill and screw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great plug for plasterboard... Used these to hang a ceiling light(approx 5kg), as I coudn't find a batten to screw into. Just make sure you use a 4mm diameter screw(for this plug) and that its about a 1cm longer than the plug to ensure the plug pulls against the back of the plasterboard. Will always use Fischer from now on...top product!

Does anyone know what "4 - 5mm x Is" screw size means (recommended for use with Fischer UX6x35)

The packet says that these need a screw size "[diameter symbol] 4 - 5mm x Is" where the s is like a subscript. Anyone know what that means? Is it a gauge?

I am planning to use these in a single thickness plasterboard wall for lightweight picture hanging, what size and length of screw do i need to undertake this work and to make these twist and hold correctly?
