Evoson 10.5" Ceiling Speaker 50W RMS 100V White (2191H)

High performance, 2-way co-axial ceiling speaker. Exceptional audio performance delivered by the 8" magnet polypropylene woofer and ½" Mylar tweeter. An excellent choice for a wide range of public address and installed sound applications. Integral line transformer with 10W, 20W and 40W taps at 100V. The transformer can be removed for LoZ 8 Ohm operation. Equipped with four fixing positions to ensure the speaker is securely attached to cavity and false ceilings from 10 to 40mm.

Bluetooth amplifier

I have two of these wired to my sitting room can you suggest va Bluetooth amplifier to get them working

If you have an existing 100 Volt Line amplifier then you can use a Bluetooth module to connect to the donor device and the output of the module can be used as an auxiliary input on the amplifier. If the Bluetooth is integrated into the 100 Volt Line amplifier then you will have a greater controllability from the donor device. The Power output of the amplifier should be at least 50 Watts RMS, ignore peak power figures as these are going to be higher so a 50 Watt peak output will not drive a 50 Watt RMS speaker. Allowing a bit of head is also a good thing as then the sound will not be distorted. The Speaker has Tap off points so can if required be used with 10, 20 and 40 Watt 100 Volt Line systems, professional guidance is advised on these types of systems.

Does this speaker work with Bluetooth?

The Evoson 10.5" Ceiling Speaker 50W RMS do not appear to have any Bluetooth capabilities built in.

What Bluetooth amplifier can I connect to this

My house came with these speakers built in but the wires are sticking out of the wall , what Bluetooth accessories can I get and how do I attach them, many thanks Pete

Before we can answer we would need to know the following: 1./ How many speakers are there? 2./ Are you using these speakers on 100V Line or did you By-Pass the Transformer to have them as Low-Impedance? We would need to be sure that the power coming out of the speakers is not going to be higher than the power of the amplifier, otherwise, this could end up going wrong.

Can this product be used in a bathroom?

These speakers are not IP rated against water splash, etc. so I would NOT recommend it to install in the bathroom. For that, you would need to use a different brand depending on the type of installation (Low Impedance or 100V Line).

Can I connect 4 off them together? If so how many watts do I need?

I have an amp with one left and right connection, how many can I connect together ? Is it possible to run 2 off each output ( 2 off right, 2 off left ). How many watt is recommended for the amp to avoid an additional power supply to them.
