Rated 5 out of 5 by In4mal from Perfect for the Job I core drilled a 52mm hole that was 1.2m long vertically down a solid stone wall using five of these extensions joined end to end. I thought I was going to break through into an unused chimney breast but it turned out to be solid stone all the way down. The extensions did the job perfectly.

The tool was perfect to complete the job, well made and saved a packet, not having to hire another core bit. Well done Screwfix and Erbauer.Simple tool, well made and cost effective- Nice One. Handy to have in your tool box.

What diameter is the end that goes inside the drill's chuck?

This I gather from the picture is that it attaches to a core drill one end and the standard SDS core Arbor? So to use with an SDS I'd need the 8666V SDS Plus Arbor also?
