Energenie MiHome 13A 2-Gang SP Switched Socket Black Nickel (3379H)

Single pole wall socket controlled via the MiHome app and also the MiHome remote control. Each socket is individually controllable via smartphones, tablets and computers using the MiHome app which enables the user to switch sockets on / off, adjust timers or operate the geofencing facility. For use with the MiHome Gateway (Code 2023H). Socket only receives communications from the Gateway and does not send a response, therefore it is not recommended for use in safety critical applications. For indoor use only.

Difference between Smart plug and socket

On official video they have smart plug, plugged into a smart wall socket, this doesn't make sense, or is there are reason for this due to the difference in functionality?

Control worldwide via app?

Hi. Can these be controlled anywhere in the world via the app, I have read that they are just controlled by remote control or manual, but you advise they can be control via app? Thanks

Hi Philal, As long as you have an internet connection on your phone and as long as the MiHome gateway has an internet connection through your router, you will be able to control your devices from anywhere in the world. Remote control

Does this come with the remote control?

Hello Handymanstu, the 2-Gang socket does not come with a remote control. It can be used with either the Energenie Hand remote control or the MiHome Gateway, both of which are included in the socket bundle [black nickel] part 1232R. Kind regards the Energenie team

Lightwave - is this compatible?

Dear Eh123, i'm afraid LightwaverRF does not work with our platform as they use a proprietry protocol. However we are on the IFTTT platform so you would be able to use Lightwave/MiHome together through this channel which is free to access. I hope this helps, kind regards the Energenie team

Independent switching on 2 Gang Socket?

Is it possible to only turn on 1 of the sockets in a 2 gang or is it both on and off?

Hi JoeTech, yes the 2G sockets can be controlled individually, for example if you installed the socket in a kitchen and plugged the coffee machine in to one outlet and the kettle in to another you would be able to switch either one on or off independantly. Hope this helps, the Energenie team.
