Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constant Issues I had this system installed by a plumber as part of a completely new central heating system. The plumber added WISER radiator thermostats to every radiator. Every day there is an issue with one of the radiators not coming on when scheduled or radiators just randomly turning on for no reason. Or radiators not heating up as they should. The system is driving me insane, I have had requests in with Drayton technical team for weeks and they cant get to the bottom of the issues. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wizer heating control system Bought our Wiser system from Screwfix Garforth over 2 years ago. Fitted on 8 of our 9 radiators. Also linked to Opemtherm on our Ideal boiler which gives better performance, economy and balances with external temperatures. I cannot praise this system enough. Simple to install. Simple to control. Allows us to heat each room independently. Turns off when we leave our set location area and turns on when we enter our set location area. Batteries last seveal months and are easy to change. This system is a no brainer and the app keeps getting better with updates. Keeps our gas heating bills down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drayton Wiser multizone kit 1 They do not tell you that the radiator wireless thermostat (master bedroom in my case) also fires up the boiler and heats the whole house, I have already my living room thermostat asigned for this job, you end up consuming more energy. Supposed to be a standalone mode for radiator thermostat where it only opens the radiator valve and does NOT fire also the boiler. Misleading and incomplete information from Drayton. Also very limited physical control of radiator thermostat. If I knew I would by just the kit without radiator thermostats.

Does the Wiser 1 have the booster option

The Wiser 2 mentions to control the booster option via the app but I don't see something similar for the Wiser 1.

How do the zones work?

Can I just have 2 zones, one upstairs and one downstairs, by fixing a radiator thermostat on one radiator upstairs and on one radiator downstairs?

To zone with Wiser you need Wiser Radiator Thermostats on all radiators, you will then need to add all the upstairs radiators onto 1 zone (upstairs) and add the downstairs radiator thermostats to zone 2 (downstairs)
