Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the price brilliant I was sceptical at first but this is a fantastic bit of kit, the only thing I would say is that when starting to drill I used a piece of wood with a 20mm hole as I was unsure if it would skip and damage tile but it cut like a hot knife through butter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good. I had to drill a number of 20mm holes in 10mm thick bathroom tiles before installing them. This little tool did the job very well. I made a jig from a piece of mdf and with a small amount of water to keep the cutting edge clear it went through easily and cleanly with no cracking of the tiles. Just taking it slowly and gently I got a very good result. For the price and performance, an absolute bargain.

I need to drill some holes into a wimpey house no-fines wall will this hole cutter be capable of the job. I am going to put up a lean to pergola outside my french doors

How do you stop the drill from wandering?

I need to drill porcelain tiles. I put masking tape on the surface, but the drill wanders all over the surface. I simply cannot hold it steady. (I don't have a pillar drill.) Any advice on how to get the hole started in the right place?

First find thin piece of timber or ply. Then drill a hole through this and then use it as a template.
