Ideal for uneven floors

I saw in one of the answers that the seal itself rises up and down in the seal frame, how much travel does it seal have as the gap when the door is open is much smaller than when it's closed

Is this really in a White finish?

Just got one of these and it's in Aluminium finish, rather than White as per the product page. Does anyone have one in White? (I thought Screwfix had picked the wrong item from stock, but they don't sell an Aluminium finish version).
