Rated 5 out of 5 by from good upgrade i bought this chuck to upgrade the original plastic one on my DeWalt drill, it is far better quality shame DeWalt did not fit these as standard, only fault i found.. it does not come with a new left hand thread retaining screw, i had to drill mine out as i lost count how many t20 bits i broke

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect makita ch replacement Bought this to replace the naff and broken chuck on my Makita Drill, fitted perfectly and is substantially better than the original. Would definitely recommend to get one and fit it even if yours hasn't broken (it will if it's an original Makita)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect chuck upgrade The chuck on my DeWalt combi drill had worn over the years, resulting in drill bits wobbling unless I loosened, repositioned and retightened the chuck a few times. This 13mm capacity chuck is considerably better from a build quality perspective to the original fitment - a lot more solid feeling and now the drill bits spin perfectly true. Some nice features: ~Carbide jaws should be far harder than the drill bits, so less likely to get worn as much if a bit slips. ~The chuck outer has two sections - the nearest to the drill body is fixed and the front section closest to the jaws rotates. This allows it to work on any drill either with or without a mechanical spindle lock. ~the nose of the drill has flats machined on to it, which should make future removal easier with a spanner rather than using the jaws to hold a big hex key and whacking with a hammer which would probably damage them. All in all this is a well designed and produced chuck and worth the money. Can’t comment on reliability at this stage, however my previous DeWalt chuck lasted around 4 years, so I expect this will outlast that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement This chuck fits my DCD795 perfectly. I had trouble removing the left handed securing screw, but after hitting a few times with a punch the screw loosened and came out.

Yes it will, I've just fitted it on my Milwaukee M18. Although it doesn't mention it in the description, the chuck is a standard 1/2 x 20 UNF thread with a hole through the middle for the securing screw (left hand thread).
