DeWalt DPN9033SM-XJ 90mm First Fix Air Nail Gun (8479F)

This DeWalt DPN9033SM-XJ air-angled framing nail gun is durable, precise and powerful. The tool's pneumatic operating system means that it has an impressive range of operational temperatures, from -20-50°C. The 33° angled magazine is compatible with a wide variety of nail types, including clipped head and wire weld, and its small size means squeezing into a tight space is no problem. Tool-free depth adjustment and sequential firing makes nail placement as accurate as possible and the 360° exhaust port ensures that air is released away from you while you work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it Bought to give my air set-up some bigger capacity for those jobs that need a bit more oomph! The gun looks pretty massive, but is actually surprising light and manoeuvrable in use. The instructions are a bit annoying, being the type to cover several different models, rather than being specific to this, not that it makes too much difference. Has worked without hitch and certainly has a kick when firing even the smaller 50mm nails into wood. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nail cannon was looking for a great nail-gun and found this dewalt for bout half the price than at the local hardware store. this thing kicks like a mule, does what its supposed to. great nailer! even on time hardened wood it shot a 90mm ring shank bout 65% in. (note this timber is time hardened, its nearly impossible to drive a nail in) i would recommend this framing nailer any day

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Framing We use this nailer for building wooden house frames in our workshop. This tool is tremendous, never misses, can be dropped with no issues and no damage. Fast firing and powerful - It puts a 90mm ringshank in like it is going into butter - it is also light and well balanced. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars for features is because it doesnt really have any - it just does what it is supposed to.

What type of nails does this take?

Like, i get they're collated nails, but is there a particular brand and is there a link you can provide for them?
Asked by: Sucatraps
Hi there, You can use any collated first fix nails 50mm up to 90mm, although the brand doesn't really matter, using some cheaper nails may cause miss fires with some machines. Ideally to make sure you get the best performance DEWALT collated nails are what our machines are tested on and here are a few codes to look at. 7073F 50mm Galvanised 9674F 63mm Galvanised 2544F 75mm Galvanised 8201F 90mm Galvanised. Hope this helps

is this run from air compressor

i would like to know if this nail gun will do for framing all the wood construction in my house thank you
Asked by: dawolf
Hi, This is an Air Nailer which you will need a compressor to run. It is ideal for all 1st fix wood construction as it will fire 50-90mm stick nails (33/34 Degree). We would recommend a compressor which has a tank at least of 16 litres. The ideal compressor would be the DEWALT 16 Ltr (4204F) or a Stanley 24 Litre (48089) or (1392F).
