Compact, lightweight and powerful 3/8" impact wrench for operation in confined spaces. Ergonomic handle and rubber overmould reduces surface vibration and user fatigue. Features a parabolic switch profile for precise control over speed. A 3-LED halo ring for illumination of work pieces as well as being a handy inspection torch. Also features all-metal gearing for efficient power transmission and long tool life, with an aluminium front housing which provides great heat dispersion, increasing motor life. Supplied with 2 x 2.0Ah XR Li-ion batteries, multi-voltage charger and heavy duty carry case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Voltage not as stated Bought five of these to replace technicians tools destroyed in floods. They are 12v not 10.8v as advertised. I don't suppose this will matter unless you already own 10.8v batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where do I get accessories? Haven’t used it yet, but my first question was where can I get accessories for the 3/8 drive. Most impact wrench drives are 1/2 and so accessories cater for that. Even though the instructions say only use impact wrench accessories, Is the only way to purchase a step up? Just something think about before purchasing.

Is this impact driver powerful enough for use with car parts such as tyre nuts.

We would recommend going up to 18V to do wheel nuts etc. DCF899 is a bit more suitable for those kind of tasks
