Is this safe to use on a raised vegetable bed

varnish needed too?

Building custom outdoor gate w/interior unfinished panel boards. Champion indicated if i "finished/treated" the wood, it would be suitable for outdoors. if i use this stain, would i need to also apply varnish on top?

Suitable for a varnished wooden front door?

Is it suitable to be used on the external side of a wooden front door that has previously been varnished? Would it need stripping prior to repainting?

We would recommend rubbing down to make sure there is a key on the surface and then apply it to the wood
