Service at screw fix was excellent , they had wha i needed , so I was in and out in minutes . Because these were so cheap , that is reflected in the quality , some of the braces became bend when screwing them into place , but you only get what you pay for.

If each bracket holds 24kg, will two hold a shelf total weight of 48kg? And if I use three can they hold a shelf weight of 72kg?

what is the diameter of the holes?

Are these suitable for outside use and will they stay rust free?

Hello Dozzler, For outdoor use, hot-dip galvanise would be required. These are zinc plated and this will protect them from corrosion outdoors to some extent, but only for perhaps 12 months. Thank you for using Screwfix Q&A.
