Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product The gas engineer that fitted the cooker was impressed. So that for me sums it up. I was dubious about the plastic connector, however it is a safety feature designed to melt and cut the gas in case of a fire. Cooker goes right back to the wall now.

is this 1/2" fitting or 3/8" as the specs says 3/8" and 1/2 diameter need to be exactly sure?

what does the plastic part clip into?

i baught this pipe from screwfix,my friend is connecting my cooker but i only have a blanked off en on my gas supply,i want everything ready for him to fit as its a favour(cheaper lol)

Can this be used with a gas hob

Hello. I’ve just purchased a 4 burner gas hob so just wondering if I can use this pipe to connect the hob to my gas supply? Thank you

Yes gas hobs can have a flexible cooker hose fitted to them, but I personally for 38 years have been ridged piping them and prefer that. You must always follow manufacturers instruction though.
