Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard wearing These belts do the job. They appear to be hard wearing. I have bought the 'roughest' grade as I have major sanding jobs to do. Initially they have tackled the 1st of those tasks. Time will tell as to their 'longevity'. They are not the cheapest on the market but if they last well then will be worth the extra money.

Asked by: Gary1968

what is the best grit for sanding oak laminate door edges ,with a belt sander

Asked by: johny56
Hello johny56, That depends on what you're trying to achieve. Use something coarse (like this one) with a low grit for rapid removal of material, then work up to something finer with a high grit for finishing. If you just want to sand edges down to a smooth finish after cutting you can skip the coarse grits and start with something medium//fine to fine. Thanks for using Q&A, KC
