Valve Question
Do these valves act as TRV’s? I’m replacing the TRV on one radiator and removing the lock shield valve. By having either of these valves on either end of the radiator (open) will they be okay and allow the radiator to function (heat) properly?

Hello Anonymous,
These are a manual valve so they will not control the heat, only open or close to let the water flow through. You can use it as a lockshield in addition to a TRV but you would normally use these as a pair on a towel radiator.

Angled
Are these angled to fit 1600x472 radiator

Hello,
Thank you for using Q&A.
I can confirm that these are angled radiator valves. Most radiators and valves have a universal 1/2'' BSP fitting as do these. Hope that helps.
