Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Gizmo Really useful device. Saves me from buying 110v tools for site work when I have plenty good 240v tools in my kit.

If I plug my 110 into 13 amp socket then plug step up into it will I have 2 x 16 amp sockets or 2 x 13 amp sockets

Asked by: 8063RAF

Incorrect description

Could you please correct the description summary that states input 230v plug and output 2 x 16A 110v sockets? This is a 110v input and 2x 230v output
Asked by: SteveTheEngineer

US to UK power conversion.

Will this device work to convert US 120vac @60Hz to around UK 240vac 60Hz for use with UK appliances?
Asked by: flyingppg
The plug and socket are the wrong types for that way around (reverse to normal). We would not recommend it.

is the thermo cut out is on the 110v side or the 230v side?

Asked by: Troytown
The protection device is on the input side so that it covers the transformer and the downstream connected equipment.

Will this be suitable for our requirement...

Does this have 1no. 30amp output? Think this has 2 x 16A output sockets Does it take a 110v male plug?
Asked by: Starkold
Transformer CM33002 has 2x 16A size output sockets. If you need a 32A size output socket, check the larger 5kVA model CM50003, SKU 21482. Both transformers have all sockets for 110V output to accept industrial yellow 110V plugs.
