Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tips for better shower flow Very please with the taps, very solid and heavy. Only issue I had is the water flow rate was very slow on shower head, tip for anybody that buys this is remove the blue filter that's inside the shower hose on connector. Just use a small screwdriver to ease it out and job done, flow rate is now great, overall I'm happy. Well worth paying the extra for the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super stylish taps I struggled to wash my dog with the fixed shower head above my bath, it was just too far away. I changed the old mixer tap on the bath for this Bristan mixer tap and shower head. Washing the dog now is a doddle, it's faster and more efficient. The best part is that this Bristan tap has modernised the look of the bathroom. It's a little more money than most mixer/shower head taps out there. Now I've fitted it, I know why. Super stylish, premium quality fantastic functionality.

Size - shower head holder

What is the "footprint" size of the holder for the shower head please? I have removed a power shower to swap for this mixer and am left with a hole in the wall tile, which, hopefully this might cover.

Is this suitable as a stand up shower?

What is the strength of the shower flow on this tap? I need to have a powerful stand up shower. The flow rate shows 31.4 litres per min. Is this just for taps or shower too?

Is this designed to be a stand up shower, or only for showering off hair whilst in the bath? I am concerned that the flow and small shower head may not be powerful enough to provide an adequate stand up shower ....
