Rated 1 out of 5 by from Steer Away Trust Me Steer away from purchasing these Blyss radiators they are of poor quality and i will guarantee you they will rust despite how much inhibitor you put into them I installed one in my downstairs Loo it had not been filled with water even just left empty over the spring and summer and was filled up in the late autumn it was then that i noticed the odd rust spots on the underside of the rails which gradually got worse once filled with inhibitor and water. I returned the product thinking it maybe a bad batch and purchased a replacement as holes for installation had been drilled into existing tiles that was approximately one year ago, I now notice once again under the rails that rust spots are appearing on the replacement radiator I did keep the reciept deliberately just in case because the item has a 5 year warranty but would prefer a refund now and spend a bit more on something more reliable, and better quality, If you have one of these I'd be inclined to check underneath the rails for rust spots as trust me they will get much worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I have paid a lot more for towel rads. that are rusting before you even fit them. This rad. is a bargain price and have now bought a bigger version.

Dimensions of valves required

It states the valve dimensions as 12”, would 12mm TRV valves be suitable for this rad?
Asked by: LJones99
Hello LJones99, This is a 1/2" female BSP thread. You will need valves with a 1/2" Male BSP thread and the other end will be a compression connection for the pipework, usually either 15, 10, or 8mm. Thank you for using Q&A

Thermostatic valves

Which of your thermostatic valves are compatible with this item?
Asked by: Jaycee1963
Hello Jaycee1963, Any of the valves will be compatible it will be the placement and sizing of the pipework that they are being connected to which will affect the requirements. It may be advisable to speak to a qualified installer for recommendations as to what would be suitable. Thank you for using Q&A

What size of pipe covers are needed for this?

Asked by: Glasgal
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. I'm not sure I understand your question as this would depend on the size of the pipework that is connected. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A.
