Absolute life saver
My central heating pump went from a drip to a cascade in minutes on a Saturday afternoon. The existing rubber washer had dissolved.
Raced (literally) to Screwfix, the only place open, bought these fibre washers, and problem solved. I am told that the fibre ones are more durable than the rubber.

Washer dimensions.
The dimensions of this washer are: outer diameter: 44.4mm, and the inner diameter: 31.74mm. There are two washers in a pack. I bought this washer to fit onto Screwfix's male flange plug (No. 74007). This washer is slightly too small for the flange plug. I used a thin bladed trimming knife and shaved the inner diameter to make it bigger. It fitted and made a water tight seal, with ptfe tape on the flange threads, to plug the side hole of an immersion cylinder.

Essential if you need
I had to buy a new set of valves foe a new motor - got these in case but fortunately the rubber ones from the new motor did OK.
