Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous radiators I was looking something to bring the wow factor to my entrance hall. This dark grey traditional style radiator was perfect. The fittings are great. Really looks special
Date published: 2019-02-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice piece of kit I was wary after looking at some of the reviews, presumably lessons have been learnt. Rad arrived well packaged and protected. Fitting was relatively easy, 4 independent brackets made it easier than a conventional rad. Looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen radiator Heavy-duty and well made, It looks fantastic and delivers the heat, have them in all downstairs rooms and they are a good investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Fantastic radiator. Gives incredible heat output, easily heating a 25sqm room. Aesthetically pleasing for a radiator and despite being 4-column it doesn't protrude too much into the room. Delivery was spot on from the courier, delivered, undamaged, into the room of my choice. Installation on wall was straight forward with a bit of measuring and planning first. Item is heavy [approx 55kg] so assistance may be needed for lifting into final position. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acova Radiators We are pleased with these radiators. Stylish and fit well with a 1950s house. they stay warm for hours after heating has timed off.
Date published: 2018-12-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive radiator A very smart looking well finished radiator with easy wall fixing brackets but in common with some other reviewers I found the packaging poor and had to return the first radiator because of damage to one of the columns.

Date published: 2018-04-13
Rated 2 out of 5 by from What a bracket. The rad itself is decent but the method of fixing to the wall is truely awful. 4 small individual fixing brackets, 1 large rad = headache to level

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice looking radiator This radiator looks like a real quality product and looks stunning in the grey. Only slight issue is it's strangely quite flexible so I'd be careful when lifting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acova radiators Got a few of these in the house they look good and kick out heat well. I will be replacing with these across the house. Pretty easy to hang too once you get to grips with the clipping mechanism.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely radiators This is the forth room I have bought this radiator for in my period renovation. They look lovely and they retain the heat longer than any radiator I have ever seen. Great product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent rad Another great looking radiator. Doing a big whole house renovation project and these rads have a classic quality look but are also very efficient and effective. Great product.
Date published: 2016-04-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing these radiators are amazing. they look fantastic, are a but pricey compared to standard panels but well worth it. like others have said the boxes arrived really badly damaged, however none of the 5 radiators appear to be damaged (only had a quick look). cant wait for them to be installed. also saved loads as went to harlow store and got a further 10% off the already sale price. couldn't be happier

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality product I have replaced several panel rads with the Alcova column rads over the years and they are very good quality and easy to fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged I had the same issue with my radiator. It was damaged on one side. It is in a ridiculously stupid cardboard box. I would have thought that all the stock is ruined! I have left mine with a slash out on one side and stick it on the rear face. Shame, cos it's a fine radiator.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Acova 4 column 300x1502 Ordered this radiator 5 times - each time it was damaged. Felt embarrassed for the store staff. Their comment was to phone head office each time. Absolutely useless!! A 60kg radiator with the poorest packaging I've ever seen - an accident waiting to happen. First 2 were delivered by parcelforce the next 3 I thought I'd try store collection. All with the same result. Poor manufacturing, poor delivery and even worse customer service from head office. Order at your peril!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value - Neat design I've now bought a few of these Acova radiators and they are performing excellently. They are nicely designed and look really unfussy and neat and way better then the basic contract rads, yet they work well giving good heat output for their size. it's handy that they come in in a good range of sizes (both height and width) so I could fit out the whole flor in the same type even through they were different sizes
Date published: 2015-05-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good solid nice looking rads. I have had several of these in various sizes now for customers and am happy with them, cheaper than the makes that my main merchants sell and just as good. Thumbs up all round!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ACOVA RADIATOR A very stylish radiator at a very good price compared to other retailers
Date published: 2013-05-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and effective These radiators are more expensive than standard rad, but they look so much better and become a feature of the room rather than an unsightly thing stuck on the wall. In fact it is more cost effective to buy these rather than to buy a steel panel radiator and pay extra for a radiator cover. Screwfix were the cheapest around and delivery was super quick with parcelforce. They chuck out loads of warmth and I shall be changing all the radiators in my house.

Are these radiators compatible with Open vented Central heating system ?

Asked by: OneAB
Yes, they can be used on open vented heating systems as long as the water is not continually replaced and it must always be treated with a chemical corrosion inhibitor. Often an open vented system is confused with the domestic hot water that comes out of the taps and is constantly being replaced and not treated with a chemical corrosion inhibitor, if it is the hot water out of the taps then a mild steel radiator like this one is not suitable.

Size

Could you tell me how many columns this radiator has? Also is the width given in the dimensions the width between the inlet/outlet holes, as opposed to the distance between the pipes? Thanks
Asked by: Afcab
it is a 4 column radiator that is 6 sections wide – the width listed is the overall width from connection point to connection point, not to the pipes, the dimension of the valve needs to be added to each side to obtain the pipe centres.
