Poor mounting
Had a nightmare getting this on and level. Only supply 2 spring retaining clips for the top brackets, what about the bottom?
You have to fiddle between the fins to stop the mounts moving all over the place and risk scratching the paint.
When it was on it slipped down the slot of the mount until it could not go any further so had to leave it there and I did tighten it up properly.
Why oh why is the mount not welded to the rear like 99% of radiators. For this reason I wouldn't buy another.

Good looking radiator
To me basic radiators are so boring. Whilst I wasn't trying to make a feature out of the radiator this understated design just adds enough interest to make it an asset to the aesthetics of the room. I'm very happy with it.

Looks good in period house
replaced a steel panel bedroom radiator in Georgian period house, looks great with chrome TRV and pipework, nice finish, quality fittings. You need to be sure wall can take the weight as even our small radiator is heavy when full. floor standing feet available separately are expensive and detract from appearance a bit IMHO ( seen them in other houses) very pleased with it as a mid price alternative between cheap steel panel and full on cast iron, would fit again in other rooms when time comes and walls permitting!

Reliable product

Can this be fitted with an electric element ?

I am afraid that none of our column radiators are suitable for dual fuel as the dual fuel elements are required to be fitted vertically.

question on physical size
I am replacing a standard radiator 400x1600. I have noticed these column radiators are always shorter. Is this because they have attachments to bring them back upto the standard size.

The lengths of column radiators are dependant in the numbers of columns, their diameter and spacing. 1502 is the full length of the radiator between connection points.

What fixings are recommended for this heavy 2 meter high radiator?
Wall is dot & dab plasterboard with light weight block cavity wall.

Yes the radiator can be fitted with inlet and outlet at either side. The air vent should be on the same side as the outlet.
