Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3M filter line These are just plastic retainers for the PPE filters which prolonge the life of the 6000 series filters. Helps stop getting them clogged up with dust particles so the main filter can filter what it is supposed to. The plastic these are made from is a robust plastic which is hard to snap or damage and work well. They can be reused several times to retain the filter to the cartridge. Again it is a non-stocked item so always a for next day collection so if you need them you have to order in advance.

Are these also compatible with the 6000 series, or is there a 6000 series version?

The 3M 501 filter retainer is for use in conjunction with particulate filters (sku's 7098G, 8219G and 9900G) for added protection when combined with the 3M 6000 series Gas and Vapour filters. Thank you for your enquiry and interest in the 3M 6000 respiratory products.
