Cast iron pipe

Is 18 TPI best for cutting cast iron drain pipe? Cutting next to a gas supply so angle grinder etc not an option Thanks

Hello Apollo85, As long as you get a metal cutting blade you should be able to use a hacksaw. However, Cast iron is extremely hard so you are likely to need multiple replacement blades before you're done. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)
