What Type Do You Need?
Torx is another name for a star shaped system with usually 6 points, and is commonly used in many tools & fixing groups. Torx was designed to allow for a higher torque than the conventional hex, therefore is less likely to damage the head or the tool. For fixing applications they have been designed to prevent cam out and achieving the same result in regards to damage.
