The Mountfield batteries & chargers are part of an award winning range. All supported using just one Lithium-ion cassette and charger which you will need to purchase separately from the product of choice, except the 48V mowers which come with batteries. There are several choices of 48V batteries, using the very latest Lithium-ion battery technology. The cells have no memory and therefore do not fade in use and have an extremely long lifetime retaining 85% of their charge after 500 charge cycles – the equivalent to 7 years heavy use. Run times do vary depending on the tool and how hard the task is but you can typically expect up to 20 minutes from a 2.0Ah battery and up to 40 minutes from a 4.0Ah battery (times will vary on each machine). The charger offers effective re charge times from as little as 35 minutes.
