A radiator bleed valve is a small metal square or screw usually found at one of the top corners of a radiator, it can be partially opened to release any trapped air in the radiator that builds up over time in a hot water central heating system. Some bleed valves can self bleed, stopping the need to bleed the radiator valve manually.
