Yardmaster Sliding Door Pent Store Metal 6 x 4 x
Sureal amount of construction
Now it's built, this is a decent shed, for a decent price, but the sureal amount of construction required means there's no way I could ever reccommend this product.
You will not believe how many components there are and it took myself and a friend - both of experienced maintenance men - around 6 hours to build. 12 man hours spent putting this thing together!!!
Nearly all the design effort has gone into making it fit into a surprisingly small box (presumably to keep transport costs down). The instructions are vague and there's just some many littles parts to find and join together, all of which could easily have been manufactured in one section. The parts are numbered, which is definitely helpful - but when you realise that there are part numbers like '408409.24EA' it's pretty obvious how little importance has been placed on ease of construction.

Delivery was exactly 2 weeks. It arrived ok and we started to assemble it. We found 2 parts the same and one part missing. We had to ring Yardmaster who said they would send the correct one straight away. It arrived 4 days later. The shed is ok ish but the screws keep popping out all the time even when you just open the flimsy doors. It is NOT very well made, but for the price, it will have to do. Will stick to a wood fence in future

Best metal shed ever?
The main sore point about purchasing this product, is that it got delivered to my home at 10pm on a Thursday night!
Other than that, the product itself is as it says on the description, it is a galvanised steel shed.
It took just under 4hrs for me and my dad to assemble and fix it into position, so not as bad as some claim, although the instructions could be a bit better. When fully assembled and fixed to the floor, it is probably more stable than a timber shed, but yes the doors are a bit flimsy, but if someone wants to break into a wooden shed, all they need is a screwdriver, so it is probably just as safe, and more noisy if someone does try to get into it!!!
I have only just put it up, but having had a yardmaster shed before for over 5years with no issues, I am sure this will stand the test of time.
This is a good form of cheap storage space that requires no maintenance so I would recommend it. (they do sweat in the summer, so don't store anything in carboard boxes)

Better than wanylap
Very time consuming to build and yes, the doors are flimsy by virtue of being made of thin sheet metal.
However, in comparison to a similar sized wood shed I found that...
1. its in the same price range
2. you wont need to treat it every year or two
3. you wont need to refelt the roof after it degrades
4. with a decent lock, the doors are no less vulnerable
5. less likely to lose its shape if you lean on it or a strong wind blows!!
