After years of tiptoeing around site lighting as not to break red hot filaments and costly bulbs, what a boon to find a LED site light that can kick out the lumens.
This unit can be given comparitively rough handling compared to the tungsten and halogen types and remains relatively cool to boot. Not to mention at 20w it's not going to make your customers freak out like a 500w floodlight will when they get their electricity bill after you've been say working on an attic for 5 weeks with it on 8hrs a day! I'd say this pays for itself in no time when you factor in not having to buy replacement bulbs everytime someone drops the lamp holder. I've already had this one drop from head height and the light stayed on! A fabulous bit of kit. I bought the portable 10w version too and apart from wishing it could go for longer than 3hrs between charges I'm loving that one also.

Needed a new light after purchasing a halogen light and after a couple of knocks the bulb blew! Hoping the LED should take a lot more abuse. Seems to be built very study and puts out a good amount of lumens. Comes with decent length of cable as well so should do me well for a few years

Very bright and low power consumption. Can't really ask for more. I use this for working under cars and it's ideal, just try not to look straight at it...it's dazzling!

I've a few rechargeable ones and thought I'd get myself a few mains powered ones. Had it in th van for months.
Finally get round to needing it on a job, plugs it in and 3 hours later it's blown!! . Checked fuses etc but being an electrician it's safe to say without opening it up to change the led driver or chip ... It's buggered !
