Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic extractor I've installed five of these in the past month. They are the "fan of choice" for me if I can persuade the customer that it's worth paying the extra money for something you can't see! This fan is powerful and quiet - not a combination you find often. Easy to fit, plenty of cable space, and has four screw holes to keep it sturdy and avoid vibrations. I don't quite understand why there are 3 different speeds. Why would you buy this type of fan and put it on a low speed? I want to replace my fans at home with two of these - just need to persuade my wife...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ACM100T As a bathroom installer I have fitted many different fans but this I fitted for myself. I needed a powerful fan as it had a 10 mtr run. Worked very well for 10 months then became very noisy, sounded as if the bearings were going. Got up the loft to remove it and found that the steam is condensing and collecting in the casing. Removed about 100 mlt of water and it now runs as quite as new. may need to drill a small hole in bottom to let water out. Apart from this I would recommend as it works very well over this distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply a very good extractor Bought this to replace a Manrose fan which I also bought from Screwfix but two units failed in less than a year each. This one has been going for two years without a hitch and is still as quiet and powerful as when it was new. Being a bigger fan it does make some noise, I ended up mounting mine on a roof rafter rather than a ceiling beam, which has taken away some of the noise. It is in no way loud though. It shifts the steam from our shower so much better than the previous unit, I wish we had fitted one of these to begin with. A very good extractor fan. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb performance Excellent product, clears our small bathroom of condensation and creates a nice airflow through the bathroom eliminating the few damp problems that were occurring. There is a satisfying plume of vapour from the outside vent on cold days. The fan itself is very quiet, the only noise is from the air being pulled through the ceiling vent. All in all very pleased with its performance and considering a second to deal with the effects of our nicotine habit. Only been installed 3 weeks so only 3☆ for reliability.

Maximum Ducting Length please

Asked by: RubberJohnny

Could i use this extract from utitlty up 2 storeys to a tile vent? Steels stopping other routes. Thanks

Asked by: Anonymous
We would not recommend terminating this fan on a tile vent, as tile vents tend to be extremely restrictive (high resistance) to airflow.

Can a inline back draught shutter be used with this?

Asked by: ABDevilliers
Yes, you can use an inline backdraught shutter, but we'd recommend a light-weight shutter as anything spring loaded will reduce the performance/extract rate of the fan due to the pressure required of the fan to open it.

Additional parts needed?

Which ducting and grille fittings would you recommend for this fan if you are installing it as a bathroom ceiling fan and expelling air through a roof tile vent less than 2m away?
