What does double self countersunk mean

Asked by: sanserifa
Hello sanserifa, Double countersunk means that the countersunk head is tapered at 2 stepped angles, this helps the head self countersink - sit flush with the surface, without the need to drill a countersink hole. If you search online for 'double countersunk vs. countersunk' you'll find plenty of comparisons & images that might help my description make more sense! Thanks for using Q&A, KC
