Pumping lower than 40mm

You said in answer to my question about how low will it pump it will go below 40mm by manually operate the float switch, but can you explain how you do this? By holding the float lower for example? Or turning the automatic switch off? Thanks Russell
Asked by: Russell123
Hello Russell123, Please see below information from the instruction manual on how this can be done. If the water is not pumped after 20 seconds of starting, lower the float switch and lift the pump. Wait until the pump is emptied. Immerse the whole pump in water. If the product does not pump after several attempts, the water level is too low to seal the system. Thank you for using Q & A.

How low will it drain?

I need this to drain as low as possible, re down to a few mm will this do the job?
Asked by: Russell123
Hello Russell123, The instruction manual states that the pump will automatically cut off when the water level drops below approximately 40mm. You can pump water levels below this however you would need to manually operate the float switch. Thank you for using Q&A.
