Purchased to allow use of a 30mm bush to cut a kitchen worktop. Wasn't to impressed with the base and didn't accurately line up to the holes in my router base. When fitting the plastic aligning guide, the two screws were snug in the captive nuts in the base, but managed to align it okay.
However, once I had removed the alignment bush, and installed the 30mm guide bush, also Trend, one screw tightened okay, the other however, increased in resistance before fully tightend to the point where the captive nut started to spin within the base itself. So the bush was not fully secure, and couldn't tighten or remove the offending screw. Very disappointed in the quality of this from a company as prestigeous as Trend. If anyone from Trend ever reads this, as a time served engineer, I think the threads in the brass captive nuts need reaming out ever so slightly to allow the screws to be inserted without the associated resistance.
Fair play to Screwfix, returned for credit with absolutely no quibble at all. Just wish I had taken heed of the reviews already written.

This base is plastic and had long-range distortion (whole base slightly curved) and short-range distortion (plastic distorted around each mounded hole). Also didn't fit my Makita FCX2301 router (get Makita's guide bushes - they fit tightly into the router with no multibase needed).

Bought 2 No of these Unibase, Returned the first due to rotating captivated nuts, lost one days work!!! Second unit also faulty, usable but the guide bush can not be removed without damaging the Unibase or Guide Bush with more time lost. Lots of money spent on Trend Jigs seems that lots more will be spent to use them. I'll look for alternatives.
I won't be buying any more Trend Products. Pity I'm stuck with the ones I already have!!!

Purchased 2 of these as first one went back with not being able to remove guide bush due to the screws just spinning inside the plastic plate.
Got sent a replacement and the same thing happens the nuts inside the plastic plate just spin won't lock the screws in.
Getting money back as no good very badly designed.
Definitely not recommend unless you get the guide bush fitted and intend to keep it on permanently.
