Wanted 2 of these, first one had too small a hole in the handle for the peg - could not set it up so that the handle did not bind on the peg.
Second one worked OK.
Third one had the same problem as the first.
Also, the screws supplied were poor quality and burred when screwing in, even after drilling a pilot hole + one handle had Posidrive screws and the other 2 had slotted screws.
Overall a waste of time. Suggest you spend more and get some that work!!

These window stays are sturdy and have a nice chrome finish, but will defintely need some lubrication to make them swing nicely after fitting. Also, as a design feature, the upright pins appear to be quite high/long compared to other similar fittings, so you will probably need to position the stay further up the window frame, or file a bit off the height of the pins so they will fit neatly into the holes on the stay. Other than that - they are perfectly fit for purpose at the price!

Wish I had taken more notice of the other reviews before I bought these. Absolutely impossible to use. Handle hits the top of the latch, the slot is too tight and there is no adjustment. Had to return them to get my money back (at least Screwfix have that in their favour), but I am surprised they are selling such rubbish.

Not fit for purpose. Slot is too tight so no room for handle to turn out when fitted. Pay a bit more to get one that works
