The Tee-piece was fine, but the element's thread was rough and the burrs needed filing off to enable it to screw freely/fully into place.
The o-ring was then able to seal properly.
The built-in thermostat seems to be opening 'early' at <60C when fed by a Dimplex controller on max-but ok so far on reduced setting but not as warm as original. Makers Tesla have been informed.

Hard to see how the previous reviewer couldn't get this to seal. It has an 'O' ring which (if it isn't overtightened) should give a reliable seal with no need for any PTFE tape or other sealant.
Easy to fit and for me150W gives enough heat in a 500 wide x 1000 tall flat towel rail without running up too big an electricity bill!

Bought heater and radiator together, problem was it would'nt seal and kept leaking, manged to seal it and stop leaks, build and test before you put it onto wall., just in case.
