Titan TTL530GBC 43cc Straight Shaft Petrol Brushcutter
1..only starts on the warm setting.
2..for short users you can move the belt clasp below the handle, and can remove part of the blade shield. If you don't it can just come off and get cut up.
3..You have to tighten all bolts and hex key holes each time. I have added superglue to the three bolts in the strimmer head as one came out second use and spun around in the mechanism, unnoticed.
4..The blade shield is held in place by a weak rivet and this went wobbly on second use so I have secured with superglue.
5..the plastic trim line head broke within 5 minutes of first use and a new one is on its way. Not tough therefore.
6..No quibble return used after first machine would not start at all. They even offered a second return as we thought it was not a bolt but a rivet that had gone.
7..Nice features, can be placed fully in a boot as it comes in two in a jiffy, and wipe clean surfaces. Use the blade guard when changing or tightening the blade. Good sized engine.
8..Be sure to use fresh fuel and mix only what you need in a proper graduated mixing bottle.
9..Because some of the hex hole bolts are small you'll need to get an appropriate hex bolt as this is not supplied.
10..The instructions say gap the spark plug at 0.6 to 0.7mm but it is fitted with one with a 1mm gap straight from the box.
11..The instructions are only partially literate and don't describe some of the features /concerns mentioned above. Makes no mention of topping up the grease even though it has a grease bolt in the head. Had no trouble getting through to speak to Titan Service.

Brought this strimmer to cut through really thick overgrown back garden went through it like a hot knife in butter. did have problems after using it for a hour solid as it wouldn't start back up again!! took it back and screwfix gave me another which works just fine!
the only thing i would suggest to titan is to make it adjustable as if your a smaller person in height like me 5"5 its hard to use the harness and 2 handles to cut as you cant reach them properly!

Value for Money
I cannot fault this machine at the price.
Simple self assembly and operation.
The included Harness was a great bonus and the safety catch on the harness is one of the best I've seen.
Just a little tip for the one or two buyers who have said that it seems a little long and unbalanced. - Where the harness fits to the machine through the small bracket fitted around the shaft of the strimmer. If you loosen the bolt the holds that bracket and slide it along the strimmer shaft you will not only shorten the amount the strimmer sticks out, you will also find the poerfect balance point to suit your needs.
By sliding the small bracket forwards or backwards you can either weight the cutting end or weight the engine end to suit your own personal taste.
The bump feed works perfectly and I am using this strimmer to cut a 2 acre overgrown field, believe me, it is eating it up.
Dont hesitate, buy one before they are out od=f stock, I am considering buying another because it is far superior to my existing Macallister strimmer.

TTL530GBC brush cutter The Beast. Bought this because of the engine size and the savings compared to one with a much smaller engine. got it home and put it together pretty quickly, filled her up and started her up no problem. This is when I decided to call her the beast, she roared into action, at point I hit a problem "far too much vibration" that much you couldn't hold the cutter for more than a few seconds, this was maybe due to me putting it up wrong in my hurry to use it before the rain came, took it apart and started again, much better this time. The harness isn't much use if you have a weight problem, also anyone who has back problems may find it pulls somewhat due to the weight of the cutter. But as the cutter goes it's a great buy and will clear anything in its path.
