Titan TTL488GDO 25cc 1.07hp Bent Shaft Petrol 2-in-1 Grass & Hedge Trimmer
Easy to assemble.
Started with a bit of priming.
Nice feel not too heavy.
Good on light hedging but struggled a little when the going got thicker.
Overall good value especially compared to the other brands. If you need this tool on an occasional basis this is ideal!

Good first use, but.......
Very pleased with my purchase at this time. Initial impression Is that it's a useful tool. Started almost straight out of the box, easy to assemble and use. As ever with tools at this price point only time will tell if it durable enough to stand the test of time. If it lasts 3 seasons doing light duties in my 1 acre plot I will be happy.

At time of writing this review I have been using the Titan trimmer for around six months and with over an acre of garden and hedging surrounding all sides I think I can safely say that this tool has been well and truly tested and has passed with flying colors.

Good but not perfect
I was very pleased after purchasing this at the beginning of the season as it was very good value for what seemed a pretty decent strimmer. The hedge trimmer attachment was an added bonus though it's a bit heavy/cumbersome to use. It started easily and felt very positive, not faltering and the clutch system worked well - I've always used strimmers without a clutch up until this one.
It's quite weighty so using the supplied strap is normally needed although it's not the best and difficult to get the right adjustment for using strimmer at the optimum height. Ear Defenders are a must as it's rather noisy.
I have been having problem after running it for 10 mins or so presumably when it reaches a certain temperature it affects the fuel system causing it to run fast and slow intermittently which makes it difficult to use properly so then have to wait for it to cool down.
Just recently, I discovered the little fuel primer cap is missing which means I can't prime the engine. Thankfully I can still start the machine and surprisingly it's not leaking fuel from the exposed priming hole.
Over all I'm pleased with the machine and, as a gardener by trade, I just hope it lasts for at least another season which I would be happy with. .
