Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value, does the job I brought this because my existing router only had a 1/4 inch collet, and I needed 1/2 inch for taking kitchen top router bits. So far so good, for the price it does everything I want, smooth action, powerful, no jitter. 26 Apr 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheapest not worth it I bought this router to cut in 4 pieces of worktop but unfortunately it stopped working after only 3. Changed it for a different one and finished the job. Not very good on thick solid wood worktop. 24 Apr 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy this router It is the worst product what I ever bought from Screwfix. It is impossible to cut straight with this router. Vibrations the motor keep stopping, keep losing the blade even if it is tight. It is simple rubbish. Will take it back to shop tomorrow. 18 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by so good I bought another one Bought one of these over 3 years ago, set it up as a bench router and ran it hard almost every day, had to change motor brushes after 2 years but its still going strong, bought a replacement for 2 reasons, 1 - cant believe first one is still going and 2- its so cheap for what you get why not have a spare ? 10/10 24 Mar 2016

Hello, the base plate measures 155mm x 110mm. The diameter would be 155mm if it was completely round. Regards.

Can this be used with a router table? If so how do you keep the trigger depressed - does it have a lock?

Hello,

This should fit 90% of router tables. However there is no facility to keep the machine continually running without pressure on the trigger.

Just fitted one to a cheep Ferm table, and all went well (apart from the fact its a cheep table)

if wishing to control the router from a remote NVR switch then a simple method would / could be to consider a cable tie

I'm after attaching the router to a c. 10mm perspex plate to fit into a home made router table. The existing screws that attach the router to its plastic base plate aren't long enough - does anyone know what the thread is so I can get some longer ones?
