Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good budget router At this price it is very good value. As a DIYer it isn't in constant use but it has coped very well with all jobs so far. Only downside the plunge is a little sticky but not too bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price I got this when it was on offer and reading the other reviews it seemed a smart purchase with occasional use. I also purchased the basic set of router bits as it isn't supplied with any. Has plenty of power, and works as expected. You have to be quite forceful when plunging but I imagine a more expensive model would be more sensitive. All in all, has worked well trimming 12mm ply, doing edging and have had a play with free hand and it seemed pretty good

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Router Overall its a good router for the price. It done the job I needed it to do in getting my cafe ready and I am happy with this product. The only down point is that all the other Titan products I have brought have all come with a carry case which is excellent for storing and keeping my workshop tidy.

confused

I am confused as answers to the 1/4 or 1/2 collet have different answers. Am I right in thinking its a 1/4 collet but can take 1/2 also? So I can get 1/4 and 1/2 bits to fit this? I have not had a router before so need to know what bits to get.

On 7 Jun 016 Screwfix said: "this will only accept 1/4" bit as this does not come with a 1/2" collet"

The listing for this tool states a 1/4" collet in the description and a 1/2" collet in the Specifications section.

What does the actual box say?

Answer:
Hi Shedme,

There is a 1/4" collet included, and router bits with a 1/2" shank can be inserted directly into the router without an additional collet. I hope that clears things up!

Thank you for using Q&A
