Well after doing the usual look around and review of other products. This was just what i needed and a great price. Seems to have a few issues with the fence, as found on youtube and other reviews. But I have made a fence from a straight length of 2x6 works great. Most impressed with the cut and finish. As set up,from the box. The depth of cut for the thicknesser was not bad. Was set to 25 mm and cut to 25.1mm. Checked with vernier. Placed one piece of wood to the left and another to right of center and cuts square.
only issue is to find spare blades. Few hints on other sites, but did not wish to take blades out as yet, just in case unable to get the Titan set up as is.
On the whole a very well priced machine for the DIYer. Is very heavy 32kg so it don't move when cutting. Hard to mark Reliabilty as only had it a week, but seems very made, apart from the fence.

In receipt of my 1st machine I quickly realised the jointer in/out feed tables were substantially out of parallel...so much in fact that cutter head wouldn't make contact with the work piece once the leading edge was on the out feed table, this was clearly a manufacturing defect as there was no adjustment available to rectify this, Screwfix customer services were extremely courteous and helpful and offered me a refund or exchange, so I thought I would give it another go and opted for a replacement, it arrived the next morning and both tables were parallel and true, the jointer and thicknesser perform very well out of the box with no fettling other than the fence angle stops, if your on a budget then you cant go wrong for the money. I was just unlucky with the 1st machine and the issue was rectified immediately by srewfix

After spending one afternoon looking at all kinds of planer thicknessers (under the £300 mark) with different brand names, I found out all are the same machine but with very slight differences... Not the price though!
I spent £130 (a bargain) on this one.
I was looking at another brand for £250 which is basically the same machine, so glad I did some research £££ in... Okay I got it home, un-packed it, 1st thing I checked was the in and out feed tables for flatness and alignment (wow I was impressed) they were perfectly flat and aligned..
So I carried on putting the rest of the machine together, which is very straight forward and only consists of a few pieces anyway.
Finally I checked the blades for set etc.. again I was delighted to find they were perfectly set up, surely can't be bad straight out the box.
Okay I run the machine using a piece of oak planed the one face straight and true, the finish was great, then I squared it using the fence which I set at 90 with an engineers square, checked it afterwards and was well pleased, spot on!
My only gripe is the fence could be better made (more rigid) but with some simple modification which I intend to do, it will be more than adequate, bearing in mind that my test piece came out spot on anyway.
Be 5 stars all the way for me if the fence was as well made as the rest of the machine, but for £130 you can't really complain. If you do intend to buy one of these check the tables before anything else, just in-case. Hope this helps you decide.

Have given five stars for the price - £130 . The thicknesser works well however the planer feed table was well out of alignment with no adjustment.
Fix: (Suggest this is for those who understand the dangers of high speed cutters) Undo one or both outer table bolts and dig out the square sliding piece. I cut new squares from 2mm steel with hole drilled close to the edge. Took a couple of tries but works fine, maybe not as robust as the originals as my square has no collar. Had to reset blades to kiss my straight edge and all now working well.
