Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent table saw Takes a bit putting together but no real problem. When first using it the blade trod its own path and I couldn't get a straight cut. Threw blade away and replaced with a decent TCT one, now everything is great, cuts real straight and with ease. At the end of the day its an inexpensive machine doing a pretty decent job. Very happy. 22 Nov 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Table saw Bought this saw as I needed to cut some scaffold boards. I upcycle and repurpose as a hobby. It was a little difficult to put the legs on, loads of bolts. But once I got started it works really well. You can't rush your work the saw dosnt like to be pushed to hard. The with gauge and other guides are a little flimsy, but do the job. I had to change the blade, it went blunt very quickly. But on the whole I am happy with it. 20 Nov 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super value for money This is my second Titan table saw as, unfortunately, the first one delivered to me I could tell would be in a sorry state before I even opened it. The box was battered and dented all over, it's embarrassing it was even despatched. That said, my replacement is in much better condition and screw fix sorted as quickly as humanly possible, so great service from that side. The saw, I thought, was surprisingly easy to put together. Despite a large amount of reviews saying the instructions are difficult to follow, a bit of common sense should make it easy enough for anyone! This is my first ever table saw and I managed to follow them, no problem. Now that it is built, it seems very sturdy and I like the amount of space on the table to work with. It has a great range of cutting depths and angles. I haven't actually cut any wood with it yet as I've only just built it today, but having fired it up I can tell it will do the job well. The only grumble I would have is that the spanners supplied were too bulky for a lot of the places they were needed and I had to resort to using one of them and some pliers. Not a hardship, but you would expect the makers of the saw would know that a less bulky spanner is needed to work around the legs in particular. Only 3 stars for reliability as I can't possibly comment on that right now. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of my friends though. 24 Oct 2015

I have some leftover solid oak worktop (40mm thick)
I want to cut it down into 20mm thick by 70mm high strips to use as worktop upstands.
Is this machine capable of that and will the finished cuts be rough or smooth?

Answer:
This product is no longer available, the replacement part code is 9486J. The max cut is 80mm so it should be able to cut to your requirements. It comes with a 40 tooth blade which will leave a smooth cut, but you can always get a different blade if you need it smoother.
