Rated 4 out of 5Â by 66silverjohn Good for Kitchen Worktop Joint
I've bought these before and find that they last a reasonable length of time. I'm not sure if more expensive ones would do a better job or last longer.
There's enough life in these to do up to 10 joints so that's about £2 a joint. If you abuse them by being careless or trying to go too fast, they won't last as long.

Good performance if used carefully, good value against other more expensive makes.

i was amazed at how easily these cutters whizzed through a 40mm hardwood worktop. a first rate tool and at the price, great value. the lower score for reliability is because i have only recently purchased the itrm.

What can i say £22 best value spend in a long time. Having bought these cutters i decided i would give at least one of them a hard time so to speak and have used the same cutter to cut 4 complete joints and clampslots.
I normally use a "rough" cutter to do the initial cuts and then a New cutter to do the final finish. I have to say using the same cutter for all cuts has produced first class results sharp edges no chipping or jumping
