Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loppers Performs excellently on even fairly large branches, The extending handles make it easy to reach higher branches and increase leverage in thicker material. Easy and comfortable in use, their lightweight construction means that it's not tiring to work at full stretch or high overhead, they make short work of the toughest shrubbery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would recommend, but... This is a brilliant value for money. I had a more expensive one that is blunt. I bought this instead. The price is cheap. The extendable hand is a feature I will unlikely use. It is sharp and it cuts well. Negative point, only two: 1/ The handles are indeed very bulky and hollow, it doesn't really make it feel good. 2/ every time I tried to cut a big branch the handle would unscrew/ unlock ( as if you were trying to extend the handle). I fear over tightening it as it feels it will buckle. I'll write another review in a few months if it's still with me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value I have only had this lopper for a few days, but have used it extensively as my wife had decided that several small trees, hedges and bushes in our garden should be taken out asap. Despite believing it to be too cheap to be of much use, I was persuaded by the good reviews to buy it. These proved accurate as it is lightweight but cuts branches very easily. I don't know how long it will last, but as a very reluctant gardener, it has proved ideal for my limited gardening duties.
