Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Mixer Tap for the money For the money, these are pretty nice mixer taps. They are not small, or cheap looking and you get a neat 3 split flow out of the spout end and they are surprisingly easy to fit. (Be careful not to use a spanner on the braided tails, or even twist them too tightly with your fingers, as they kink very easily - I've made that mistake in the past ! ) Previous reviewers have mentioned a missing anti-twist washer and I nearly took mine back to screwfix thinking it was missing from my pack, but it was actually already located in the base plate (can't remember the correct name, but it's the bit that sits between the tap and the top of the sink surface), so check it's not there before you return the tap. All in all pretty decent taps 1 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good quality and easy to fit Bought to replace and existing tap of similar size. All components in package, easy to fit, seems good quality, 9 Mar 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Missing washer? Like most reviews, I was pleased with the design and relative ease of fitting this tap. But like 'Jabber Jabber's review, I found the anti-twist washer was missing. I'd had the taps for over two months before I got round to fitting them but, to their great credit, Screwfix accepted the set as a return item without argument. In the store, staff opened two more boxes and neither had the anti-twist washer. Now, a couple of months later, I've asked Screwfix if they can find out from the supplier whether that washer is discontinued. Again, to Screwfix's great credit, they are looking into it. If I am able to later, I'll give an update. 22 Jan 2016

There are no instructions on how to remove the end of the spout
to clean the formation of scale.
There is a join about 2 cms from its end but nothing on how or if it can be taken apart.

Screwfix product but out of warranty. The handle is loose and also constantly dripping.
It needs the plastic spline adaptor replacing as well as the cartridge.
I cannot find any information on-line to identify the correct parts (cartridge) or information on how to correctly remove the lever part of the tap. There are no visible fixing screws that can be seen that attach the lever to the tap body.

Answer:
Hi Anonymous, There should be a small grub-screw in the back of the base of the tap. This may have come loose allowing the neck to come off. Check if it is still there, push the swan-neck back into the base, then carefully tighten up the grub-screw sufficiently to allow the neck to turn, but not pull out. I hope this information is of help to you.
