They size a little big which means they are roomy so you have room for a cheap pair of insoles which make them dramatically more comfy. Actually I would say it's essential to add some insoles to these.
They are stiff for only a week then they supple up nicely. On my second pair now, last ones lasted a year intensive almost daily use in building site and garden.
Stiff so you can just step into them, and quite flappy round even my big calves so they breathe a bit in summer and are not desparately sweaty.
Would not do without steel toes now!

Bought these when the weather turned worse than usual a couple of years ago. They're not great to wear if you're walking hundreds of miles, but they keep the water out and the toecaps and soles have been handy for wearing at work when needed. Heel-kick tab on the back's appreciated after a full day with them

I bought these for the garden. Very uncomfotable and had to return them before I used them.
Cheap, but unfortunately that was reflected in the comfort.
