Rated 5 out of 5Â by Boilerplater Better than other riggers
These riggers are badged as "insulated".My experience of them means that they simply offer the level of comfort and protection that "uninsulated" riggers should offer. Good for hand-balling rubble into a barrow - and general building work - and much better than thinner rigger gloves. I also used them when using a club hammer and bolster for chasing out concrete. They have withstood some serious abuse, but they do not last forever, and after a few full days' work of handling sharp-edged rubble did need replacing. NOT cheap, but better protection for your hands than cheaper gloves so worth the extra money. To be recommended.

First pair the thumb went through after about 3 hours of chucking rubble. Returned with no hassle and the replacement set seem fine so far but most of the job was done by then, bit worried about the longevity of them. They are very warm though, great for winter work.
