Stanley FatMax Xtreme Claw Hammer 14oz
Light but powerful
This hammers great especially if you have joint ache/pain.
I used to use a 20oz hammer but with my elbow being dodgey after a few hours of swinging a 20oz my elbow would ache. With this hammer only being 14oz there's no fatigue at all!
It hits like a 20oz but its miles more comfortable to use on long days.
The handles comfortable and I've not had any issues with my handle coming loose or the handle vibrating.
I'd recommend this hammer to anyone especially if you get aches or pains in your wrist, shoulder or elbow.
Light in the tool box too.

Don't Touch It
I purchased a new Stanley Fat Max Extreme 14oz from ScrewFix about 1 year ago,I have used it on a few cut roof builds and the hammer initially performed well, after about the third day of use I noticed that the hammers handle was working itself loose and further to this it was also vibrating with each nail strike.I tried the old trick of banging the bottom of the handle on a piece of wood trying to reset the handle but no joy.I have now given up on this hammer and it lies somewhere at the bottom of the box . I would not recommend this hammer to anyone who uses a hammer on a daily basis, to earn their living from.
