Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent piece of kit Great buy and comes with staples and nails in a dewalt Tstak compatible case. Very glad I bought this and not some of the others i was looking at. 1 problem I have found is the depth adjustment moves sometimes after using for a while but not a major issue, great buy, definitely recommend 25 Jul 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great multi use tool. I've use Bostitch tools in the past and find them very lightweight and sturdy. I found the depth gauge dial on the nail gun to be very handy when it comes to using staples. As i can stop the staple from going in too far and cutting what i'm stapling (eg. chicken wire or plastic mesh). This kit has nails and staples in the case which is always a bonus. It also comes in a much better case than what they used to in the past. Overall a great light well balanced gun. 7 Jul 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just buy this now This product would still be worth buying if all you got was the case. It is a seriously nice one. I have never purchased any other tool in a case as nice from any brand. Aside from this the nailer itself is spot on. We always got Bostitch nails so it made sense to try the gun. Perfect for second fix jobs you might have like architraves or tacking skirting on. Beyond 40mm you need something else but this is perfect up til that. 4 Apr 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic stapler Brilliant tool. Only problem was they dont stock the staples for the gun, which was a pain. The gun its self is so easy to use, highly recommend buying one, in fact i bought another one for my son. 26 Mar 2015

Answer:
Maybe a bit late, since this was posted May and it's now October. Can't answer for this particular stapler, but over a couple of years have put up around 30-40M of feather edge fencing. First lot I used my framing nailer (50mm ring nails). Feather edge was 150mm wide with 60mm overlap set on 3 off horizontal 47x100mm rails. Used two nails per rail. Have found over the last year about 10% of the feather edge has split. So this year doing the back of the garden used my stapler with 40mm narrow crown (type 90 = 5.7mm) staples, same fence spec, two staples per rail. No signs of splitting and just as solidly attached. Time will tell.
Saw this as my 15yr old stapler has finally given up the ghost and looking for new one.

Answer:
Hi Jezh, this is not a gas nailer-stapler. It needs to be connected to an air compressor fitted with the appropriate air hose and fittings. On the inlet of the tool is a Uni connector. I hope this information is of help to you.
