Stanley APC-BN 50mm Brad Air Nailer 18ga 15-50mm
Didn't know how much I needed one of this until I got one. Use it for almost everything from temporary fixing to size up, to permanent fixing on final jobs. No jams at all and very easy load and unload. Pins are sub-surface in all woods if the tool is presented properly.

Professional quality DIY tool
I bought this to nail my featherboard fence, but instantly found loads more jobs for it! The gun is professional quality, at a DIY price and I really wish I had bought one when I worked as a builder - it would have saved me several hours a week!
The gun runs quite happily on a small compressor, despite my having changed the "Universal" air coupling to the smaller 1/4" BSP coupler, and being on a very long hose.
Loading is simplicity itself, and the results are far neater than can be achieved with a hammer!

Stanley 18g nail gun.
I have two 16g Stanley nail guns which are very good. But I needed and 18g to replace my Clark gun which has packed up. So I have gone for a Stanley 18g gun. I have tried it out and it does seem to work fine and does a good job. But I am a bit disapointed that the nail carriage is all plastic. So I am going to be carefull not to drop it. If I had realised this before I whould probably gone for a bositch.

does what it says on the tin
have only used this nail gun for a couple of weeks and so far it has performed perfectly.
Well worth the money for a Stanley product.
I wish it had a belt clip though.
This is a sturdy little tool and I'm very happy with it.
Screwfix should open up a shop here in Northern Ireland.
