Needed a long shackled lock for my side gate and this appeared to meet my requirements, especially no key so friends and family didn't need a key to access my property. Works OK when new but lubrication is needed weekly in an attempt to keep the lock working. If you have heavy rain followed by frost then getting it inlocked is impossible. The problem of the small button at the bottom sticking then means that the lock will not lock. Its a shame that these problems happen as otherwise this suits my needs perfectly.

Great combination lock, perfect for side gate(s) to residential properties ( no need to go looking for keys everytime you want access ). Would of given this top marks however there was a problem with the first lock being extremely difficult to open before Screwfix exchanged it for a new one ( great customer service again guys! )

Bought this padlock for locking a driveway gate, so it was exposed to all the weather and used daily. Weatherproofing was effective in that the shackle and body are well protected by their coatings from corrosion. However, the combination selection became more and more difficult, having started out easy to select with slick opening, it became totally unreliable and un-usable. Tried any amount of WD40 and 3in1 to remedy the situation to no avail, so fear the internals of this lock are not upto the 'weatherproof' claim. Have resorted to an Abus, brass padlock with key and have had no problems.
